Fun Searches
We
hope that you enjoy searching our website for sportscards or ticket stubs
featuring, or relating to, your favorite athletes, sports teams, sports cities,
hall of famers, league MVP’s, rookies of the year, Cy Young Award winners,
Triple Crown winners, members of the 3,000 Hit, 500 HR, and 300 Win Clubs, rookies,
or even stars from your favorite old movies!
To
conduct some fun and interesting searches on our website, you will first need
to find the “Product Search” box located on the right side of this
website, just below “Product Categories.”
Once
you locate the “Product Search” box, conduct one or more of the
following searches:
- To view our sportscards featuring all hall of famers
(boxing, baseball, football, hockey, and/or tennis), locate the “Product
Search” box and type in: hall of famer or HoF.
- To limit the result by sport, for example, click on
the “Advanced Search” link located just below the “Product
Search” box. This will take you to a new page. In the “Category”
drop down box, choose a main category, such as “Baseball Cards,”
and type in hall of famer or HoF.
- This search will yield all of our sportscards
featuring members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
- You can run similar searches in any of our other
dropdown categories, such as “Baseball Cards: 1950-1959.”
- To search sportscards featuring players from your
favorite team, locate the “Product Search” box and type in the
full team name, such as Brooklyn Dodgers.
- For some teams, such as the New York Yankees, you
can also type in a team nickname, such as Bronx Bombers – for the
Brooklyn Dodgers, you can even type in Dem Bums, as they were
affectionately known.
- Please note, if you simply type in New York,
the search will yield cards featuring players from not only the New York
Yankees, but also the New York Giants, New York Rangers, New York Jets,
and New York Mets, to name a few.
- To search by an athlete’s nickname, locate the “Product
Search” box and simply type in the nickname, such as The Boston
Strongboy, for the great 19th Century boxer John L.
Sullivan, or The Splendid Splinter, Teddy Ballgame, or The
Kid, for the legendary Ted Williams
- Award and Trophy Winner Searches:
- Cy Young Award Winners (Baseball)
- To search for sportscards and/or ticket stubs
featuring Cy Young Award winners, locate the “Product Search” box
and simply type in Cy Young Award.
- Heisman Trophy Winners (Football)
- To search for sportscards and/or ticket stubs
featuring Heisman Trophy winners, locate the “Product Search” box
and simply type in Heisman Trophy.
- MVP Award Winners
- Baseball:
- To search for sportscards and/or ticket stubs
featuring baseball players who have won either the American League or
National League MVP Award, locate the “Product Search” box and
type in American League MVP (or, alternatively, National
League MVP).
- Football:
- To search for sportscards and/or ticket stubs
featuring football players who have won an MVP Award, locate the “Product
Search” box and simply type in NFL MVP.
- Hockey:
- To search for sportscards featuring hockey players
who have won the Hart Memorial Trophy, the NHL’s MVP Award, locate the “Product
Search” box and type in Hart Memorial Trophy.
- Rookie of the Year Award Winners
- Baseball:
- To search for sportscards and/or ticket stubs
featuring baseball players who have won either the American League or National
League Rookie of the Year Award, locate the “Product Search” box
and type in R.O.Y. Award.
- Hockey:
- To search for sportscards featuring hockey players
who have won the Calder Trophy, the NHL’s Rookie of the Year Award,
locate the “Product Search” box and type in Calder Trophy.
- Triple Crown Winners (Baseball)
- To search for sportscards and/or ticket stubs
featuring baseball players who have won the Triple Crown (league leader
in HRs, RBIs and batting average), locate the “Product Search”
box and simply type in Triple Crown.
- Lifetime Statistics Searches (Baseball):
- 3000 Hits Club
- To search for sportscards and/or ticket stubs
featuring members of baseball’s 3,000 Hits Club, locate the “Product
Search” box and type in 3000 Hits (no commas).
- 500 Home Runs Club
- To search for sportscards and/or ticket stubs
featuring members of baseball’s 500 Home Run Club, locate the “Product
Search” box and type in 500 HRs.
- 300 Wins Club
- To search for sportscards and/or ticket stubs
featuring members of baseball’s 300 Wins Club, locate the “Product
Search” box and type in 300 Wins.
- 3000 Strikeouts Club
- To search for sportscards and/or ticket stubs
featuring members of baseball’s 3,000 Strikeouts Club, locate the “Product
Search” box and type in 3000 Strikeouts (no commas).
- To view our rookie cards, locate the “Product
Search” box and type in: rookie or RC.
- To limit the result by sport, for eaxample, click on
the “Advanced Search” link located just below the “Product
Search” box. This will take you to a new page. In the “Category”
drop down box, choose a main category, such as “Football Cards,”
and then type in: rookie or RC.
- This search will yield all of our rookie cards of
football players.
- You can run similar searches in any of our other
dropdown categories, such as “Football Cards: 1950-1959.”
- Get creative! Here are just a few of the countless combination
searches that you can run. Locate the “Product Search” box and
type in:

- 300 Wins and Cy Young Award
- Searches of Movies Featuring Your Favorite 1930’s
Movie Stars:
- You can also find wonderful cards of your favorite
movie stars of the 1930s by locating the “Product Search” box and
typing in the name of your favorite film in which they starred, such as Stagecoach. That search will yield all of our cards featuring Hollywood starlet
Claire Trevor (provided that we have them in stock). We concede, however,
that most movies you type in will yield no results, but give it a try!
